Dance Theatre Arts Group
Dance to express, not to impress

About Us

Dance Theatre Arts Group was founded by Charlotte Higgs AISTD, DDI in September 2009.  Initially two Melody Movement Early Learning dance and movement classes for the under 5's were introduced at Kidspace in Romford, Essex.

In September 2010, with the popularity of the Melody Bear classes continuing to grow, Charlotte was able to expand the school to include older children and thus Dance Theatre Arts Group was born.  Today DTAG offer a range of classes which help students develop key skills including technique, coordination, flexibility and rhythm as well as building their confidence and self-esteem whilst having fun and making new friends.     All students have the opportunity to take the ISTD exams as well as taking part in workshops with guest teachers, local events, end of term presentations and the school's annual shows at a local theatre.
